Most Popular DC VS Marvel Mash-ups by fans And The Real Answers

Since the beginning of the creation of superheroes in DC and Marvel, most of the things that fans talk about the most is which of their heroes would win in a fictional/hypothetical battle. Well, this is how also the team at Comic Creed feel. So we decided to do some research and find out the most popular DC Vs Marvel characters' mashups and give you winners of the various battles. Here is 16 of the most popular and recurring mashups and who we think would be the victors.

• Thor V Superman
Superman is very powerful but not as skilled as Thor. Also, Thor's powers are mostly magical which means although, Superman will not be weakened in anyway, he will be affected by Thor's attacks. Also, Superman doesn't seem to be as powerful as the gods of Olympus and those gods seem to be as powerful as the gods of Nurse mythology (Thor and other Asgardians). Superman may be stronger than Thor in terms of raw strength, but Thor's magic capabilities give him a edge against the Man of Steel. Thus, it is safe to say that a fight between base Superman and base Thor will favour Thor.

• Batman V Captain America
Every time these two opposing heroes have fought in canon have ended up in a stalemate proving that there are equally matched. But you should never forget that Batman is but a mere human who has reached the peak of human physique. A random fight between Batman and Captain America will end up with Batman as the victor since Batman carries more weapons than Steve does and Bruce is also more physically skilled than Steve.

• Batman V Iron Man
Batman can defeat almost anyone with enough prep time but without it he is a formidable enough to last quite long and may even win. But that is not the case with Ironman, Ironman's base suit is alot more powerful than that of Batman. Thus, a random encounter between these two would have Iron Man as the victor. Even with prep time, it would be really hard for Bruce to come up with a way of beating Ironman's suit. And if there are both given the same amount if prep time, Batman would still lose. The only way Batman could win is by using the Hellbat armour, but since that armour drains his lifeforce, it is simply out of the question.

• Ironman V Cyborg
Tony Stark might probably be using one of the most powerful machines known to man (his Ironman armour) but he is no match for someone who is the machine itself. Cyborg is a sophisticated android/human superhero. He has the ability to connect with other machines and can easily connect with and disable Tony Stark's armour in a random encounter.
Even with prep time, Tony Stark's huge IQ is no match for a human brain with an IQ of 170 working with every information in the internet.

• Superman V Hulk
Most people say that Hulk's strength being proportional to his anger is infinite. But they also fail to realize that if Hulk is stronger than Superman in terms of raw strength, Superman array of various powers grants him an edge against the green monster. Superman is alot faster than the Hulk and can easily give him a thorough beatdown that would revert him back to Bruce Banner before the Hulk can lay a hand on him. Superman could also talk the Hulk back to Bruce Banner just as Daredevil once did, but that seems very unlikely.

• Darkseid V Thanos
In terms of raw strength, Dakseid is physically stronger than the Thanos, not to talk of his powers granted to him by the Omega effect. Darkseid's omega beams can also disintegrate any living being so I think Darkseid would take this one.
On the other hand, if Thanos and Darkseid were armed with the Infinity Gauntlet and the Anti-Life Equation, Darkseid could still win this by using the Anti-Life Equation to take over the Thanos' mind and manipulate him to give up the Infinity Gauntlet.

• Hawkeye V Green Arrow
Hawkeye has what’s called “accuracy enhancement,” which basically means that he can use any sort of projectile weapon and almost never miss, even if he doesn’t see the target. Green Arrow on the other hand had to train extensively for five years in a remote island for years to gain his abilities. With that, it is safe to say that Hawkeye is more proficient with the bow and arrow than Green Arrow will ever be.
When it comes to physical combat, Green Arrow may have learnt alot more of hand-to-hand combat than Hawkeye has, but do not forget that Hawkeye had become a ninja in the comics (Ronin). Thus, Hawkeye wins this one.

• Flash V Quicksilver
The Flash is faster than Quicksilver no doubt. Even with the recent increase in Quicksilver's powers, he is still no match for the Scarlett Speedster. Barry's access to the speed force grants him an array of so much special abilities that Quicksilver could only dream of. In conclusion, the Flash is more powerful and faster than Quicksilver.

• Aquaman V Namor
Contrary to popular belief, Namor is the original underwater King of Atlantis, having been introduced into Marvel before Aquaman was created. They are both presumed to be equally matched and with the same powerset, that is relatable. But there is an ability Namor has that Aquaman doesn't seem to possess- the ability to channel the abilities of underwater and other sea creatures. Namor can channel the powers of the electric eel and blast electricity with his hands. He is basically DC's vixen only with the powers of aquatic animals. Therefore, Namor would win this.

• Martian Manhunter V Vision
These two superheroes are usually pitted against each other solely because of the fact that they are considered to have almost the same powers. They both have superstrength, flight, ability to alter their densities, etc. What people fail to realise is that Martian Manhunter's is almost as strong as Superman, with Superman having said on multiple occasions that the Martian Manhunter is more powerful than him. He also has the intellectual capabilities as Batman, the world's greatest detective. Vision in the other hand is merely an android. A fight between these two would only end in the Martian's favour.

• Sentry V Superman
Sentry is one of Marvel various answers to DC's Superman. And this time, they have finally gotten it right. His powers are basically limitless spanning from superstrength and flight to matter manipulation. A good show of his strength was when he ripped a god in two halves with his bare hands. And as we have earlier mentioned, Superman is not very formidable against gods (as shown in the injustice story arc), thus, we assume it is safe to say Sentry wins this one.

• Doctor Strange V Doctor Fate
Doctor Strange might be the sorcerer supreme of the Marvel Universe but Doctor Fate is the most powerful sorcerer in the Multiverse. Dr. Fate is essentially an omnipotent being capable of doing about anything he wishes. He can create life, grow as big as Galactus, repair planets from the outside and many more. Although, being more powerful than Dr. Strange doesn't necessarily grant him a win. If it is a random encounter, Dr. Fate is more likely to win but with enough prep time, Dr. Strange would find out that Dr. Fate's powers are bound only by his cloak, helmet and amulet. He would have to discover a way to get them off Dr. Fate. Otherwise, Dr. Fate would definitely whoop his ass.

• The Atom V Antman
Another mash-up of two characters with the same powers. Most fans would simply assume that the victor would be the whoever can shrink the smallest. But as earlier implied, the character with a unique ability would have an edge over the other. Now, the Atom can shrink smaller than Antman (proof of that statement is that the Atom has once shrunk so small that he didn't just enter the Microverse, he had entered the fabrics of the planet: that means he was so tiny that he saw the individual threads that make up the Earth) and he can do it without a suit. If the Atom can shrink small enough to disable Antman's suit from the inside, he would easily win this, but Antman has the ability to control and manipulate ants and sometimes other insects. We are not sure how this fight would end so we'd like you to tell us what you think in the comments below.

• The Justice League V The Avengers
We are going to use the traditional members of each team. For The Justice League, we have Superman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern (either Hal Jordan or John Stewart), Martian Manhunter, Shazam and Cyborg. For the Avengers, we have Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Antman and the Wasp. These are the most frequently occurring members in the comics. Also, note that the Justice League are under the leadership of Batman and the Avengers are being led by Captain America.
Obviously, the Justice League has the upper hand here, having members as powerful as Superman, Shazam, Flash and Wonder Woman would be enough to take down the Avengers' big guns- Thor, Hulk and Ironman. The rest would be a piece of cake.

• The Marvel Cinematic Universe V the DC Extended Universe.
This is not really a question but Hard-core fans seem to ask it: which cinematic universe is more powerful, the MCU or the DCEU. The MCU has has had 10 years to introduce a plethora of characters through their movies and TV shows. The DCEU on the other hand, has not been around for that long and we have only seen few of their characters or at least, not as much as we have seen in the MCU. The MCU has more characters and weapons that could easily level the DCEU's base Earth. The MCU has also introduced the concepts of parallel Earths and other dimensions which confirms that there are more characters than we have seen. All these and more would enable the MCU beat the DCEU in a snap (pun intended).

• The Marvel comic book Multiverse V The DC comic book Multiverse
This is it, the final battle, the grand war. This is where every single resident of each universe ignore their differences and team up for an all-out war against a common enemy. For a fight as big as this, we need rules;
*The goal of each multiverse is to win the war, there is no truce and no surrender.
*It will occur just like a generic war, they may or may not take prisoners and transform them into mindless drones to fight for them.
With that in mind, it all comes down to who has the more powerful characters, more advanced technology, most intelligent people and the most characters.
Marvel has a plethora of superpowerful cosmic beings with near limitless powers. Contrary to what most people believe, there are more powerful characters in DC than in the Marvel Multiverse. Marvel has also established it's characters from multiple universes and has stated that there are an infinite number of Earths. This is something that DC lacks having only 51 parallel universes and the Dark Multiverse. Therefore, in our own opinion, the Marvel Universe would win this war.

Of course, this is only our own opinion here in Comic Creed. What do you think? Do you agree with all of them? If not, which do you think we are wrong? Let us know in the comments below.
