Reign Of The Supermen: Every Superman Ranked

The latest addition to the DCAMU (the DC Animated Movie Universe -- an animated movie universe which is adapted from the New 52 DC comics) has just been released in the streaming service, DC Universe. In addituon to the great story, the movie also introduced us fans of the DCAMU to four new versions of Superman who showed up after his death to protect Metropolis. Here, I'm going to rank each Superman which had showed up in the movie based on the power they showcased in the movie (and only in the movie).

**SPOILER ALERT**
This post contains spoilers for the movie, Reign Of The Supermen. Therefore, if you haven't watched it yet and don't want spoilers, save this page to read it later. Or if you don't mind spoilers, let's get on with it.

5. Steel
Steel is the only one if the Supermen who is actually fully human. His real name is John Henry Irons and he used to work at LexCorp. After being inspired when he was saved  by the real Superman, -- Clark Kent -- he had created an armour of his own in order to protect Metropolis after the death of Superman.
His armour is quite efficient. It, as the name implies, is made up of steel. He is also equipped with a hammer which he swings as a weapon. But nevertheless, he is still just a human. Even though He could hold his own against the likes of the Eradicator, he is still no match for the actual people with superpowers. I mean, he is alright, but he is no Tony Stark.

4. Superboy
Superboy is clone created from the DNA of both Superman and Lex Luthor. He was created by LexCorp for the purpose of giving Lex Luthor his very own Superman which he could control. He is basically a teenage  version of Superman if he was raised as a superstar.
Even with the kryptonian DNA from Superman, it is no surprise that Superboy does not rank up higher on this list simply because of his inexperience. He is quite impulsive and rash just like a teenager. He doesn't even seem to have Superman's heat vision, freeze breath and enhanced senses or atleast he didn't use any of them in the movie.

3. Superman
As mentioned earlier, this post contains spoilers for the movie and here comes one big one; the original Superman is alive. He was regenerated by absorbing ionic radiation from the Eradicator (more on that later) in a process known as the revitalization process.
Since he has not been in the sun for over six months, he is not as powerful as he used to be. Nevertheless, he is still quite powerful as he could withstand skull-shattering blows and punches from the Cyborg-Superman and still bleed. If this list wasn't based on how much power he had displayed only in the movie, he would probably be number 1 on this list.

2. Cyborg Superman
Hank Henshaw was transformed into a cyborg version of Superman by Darkseid when his rocket had failed and Superman did not save him. During the space mission, Hank and his wife, Terry Henshaw, had suffered fatal injuries. Terry has died and Hank blamed Superman for not saving her. This is the reason why he had despised Superman.
Due to his cybernetic enhancements, Hank is the only one of the Supermen which almost exactly the same powers as the original Superman would have. He has superstrength, superspeed and heat vision. At least, those are the powers we saw him display in the movie. Nevertheless, he is very powerful. He was able to go toe-to-toe with our next number and end up in a stalemate. Although the reason he is not number 1 is that he was later defeated by our next number.

1. The Eradicator
The Eradicator is a holographic advanced piece of kryptonian technology created to protect Superman from intruders during his regeneration, or as they call is in the movie, revitalization process. He also gave out ionic radiation which Superman had absorbed during his revitalization process.
This version of Superman was created with the sole aim to serve and protect Clark at all costs. He does not have any moral code so he makes sure he performs his duties without holding back. This particular fact makes him ruthless. He is as strong as Superman is supposed to be and he shoots solar beams of ionic energy from his body. He was also used to defeat the Cyborg Superman at the end of the film.
